RISE Global Health Initiative was envisioned and founded by an individual who aspired to change the world. The journey started when he realized the opportunities for development in his home country, Nigeria. Through RISE GHI, he saw opportunities for international and clinical partnerships, setting new standards in healthcare, and increasing awareness to core principles. These principles included community participation in outreach projects, community contribution in its development, and community self-reliance and indigenous knowledge deployment. With all that in mind, he set forth to bring life to the RISE GHI and has watched it grow into a world-changing organization.
